It’s a Smart ForFour, basically a Mitsubishi Colt with Smart like panels. They were only build in Born in the Netherlands, in the former DAF factory, which nowadays builds Minis and FWD BMWs.

A smart W454, aka the 1st generation forfour. It was effectively a Mitsubishi Colt wearing the exterior and interior of a smart. The forfour actually introduced the smart “lounge” concept, where you could fold flat the front seats and kick back in the back like a lounge.
A few bits from the forfour made it into the second generation W451 fortwo.
Fun fact: The original forfour was the first smart you could buy with a 3 pedal manual.
I uh...know too much about smart cars...

One of these lives on my street. I don’t love them, but you’ve got to applaud the owner for getting something interesting.
